By now many of you have seen our baby announcement video. All of your emails, phone calls, and blog comments have been so much fun. We feel very blessed to have all of you as friends and family. This baby will be one lucky kid!

I’m in my 13th week now and for the most part I’m feeling very good. The first trimester I felt sick most of the time but it was curbed if I ate every few hours. Thank goodness those months were free from praying to the white porcelain god. I’m starting to show but have lost weight so far. After a lot of reading I was a bit concerned even though I know this happened to my sister as well. The doctor says it’s normal and especially because I started out heavy, I won’t need to gain as much as other women. That’s ok by me!

The last few days I’ve been super tired. Must be a growth spurt for our little squirt. This has been quite an experience for me and Joe. Every day is a new discovery and we’re excited for January. At the moment the due date is New Year’s Day.

Today Joe is in line to buy the new Apple iPhone. My carpool buddy is going to drop me off at the mall to keep him company the last hour of waiting. They release them for sale at 6pm and there are 74 people in line before him. Could be a long night.
