Joe and I have had four packed days in London and are now in our hotel in Paris! We have a view of the Eiffel Tower from our tiny but ample room and had quite an experience getting from the rail station to our home for the next four nights.

The “lift” is just small enough to fit one person with one or two pieces of luggage. Needless to say, we took it in shifts. Our cab driver listened to jazz music and got us to the hotel without a scratch. He decided to not give us enough change so Joe decided that was tip enough.

We’re headed out into the streets of Paris…who knows what awaits us!
