Guster @ The Grove in LA
I took the Metrolink into work this morning (woke up at 5:20 am…ouch!) so that I could take the train into LA to meet up with Joe who was working in Glendale today. We caught wind that Guster would be playing a free show at The Grove in LA…compliments of Indie 103.1 FM.
The concert was amazing…we were in the front row, right against the stage and Joe snagged Ryan’s set list after the show was done. The band was doing a signing over at a book store too, so we got a picture with them, a CD signed, as well as the set list. Joe got to tell them that he’s seem them in concert 3 times and still hasn’t seen them do “Careful” live. The drummer said that he had it in the set list but that Ryan, had made him take it off.
What a tiring and memorable day! Joe brought the camera so take a peek on flickr for his pics of the concert.
BTW…switching trains at Union Station is terrible confusing! But I’m hoping that experience was good practice for Europe!

I wonder why they take that song off - it’s so good. What a great place for a show! I’m glad you guys saw them!! That’s so cool!
Fri Mar 23, 2007 at 7:19 amAccording to setlist.com they play Careful 67% of the time since Keep It Together came out. We’ve just had bad luck not seeing it, I guess. They played it at one show we missed in LA since we’ve been fans, last march at the Roxy. We were moving into our home so we couldn’t make it.
