Pollution
My niece, Erin, is the valedictorian of her preschool and has been asked to give a speech at her graduation. When my sister called to give me the news, I had to chuckle because it’s not like this preschooler can sit down and actually write a speech to read at the ceremony. She’s still learning how to write her alphabet! So, I asked if there were any worries about the speech. My sister said no, that recently Erin had given a monologue about pollution (I don’t know that this was at a school function…I got the impression it was just something she did at home). I guess they’re learning about pollution at her school. In Preschool I was running away from boys who were trying to kiss me and making chains with glue and construction paper.
My, how thngs have changed. When I was that age, I didn’t go to pre-school. My first school experience was 1/2 day in kindergarten. And BTW, I wouldn’t have been caught dead trying to kiss a girl at that age. YUCK……
