Today while taking my lunch break, I decided to run a few errands. There are a lot of places to shop close by and it’s always nice to get some time out of the office. One of my errands brought me to Petco. As a sidebar, PetSmart is waaaay better than Petco but I’d forgotten which store it was and since I had driven there just decided to go in anyway.

When I walked in I passed an isle with two older ladies having a conversation. It was obvious to me that they didn’t know one another but the older lady (70s or so) seemed to have asked the younger one (early 50s) a question. I noticed that the younger one was dressed rather provocatively for a woman in her 50s. She was wearing layered tank tops and yoga pants. No bra and her mid-drift was showing…and even though she was skinny, it wasn’t a pretty sight.

I had gone down the isle near them to look at the cat litter liners and couldn’t help but hear bits of what they were saying. The elder of the two kept talking about getting a particular pet product at the “swap fair” and the younger said something about how that particular item was illegal and that it was actually called the “swap meet”. It struck me at that moment that I’d heard her voice before but couldn’t place her. I mean, it was totally random but I knew her voice. I could tell that it was the younger of the two ladies and that got me thinking about what she looked like when I walked in. Hmmm…her outfit was revealing and she had long blonde hair. Then I realized who she was!

Her name was Cat and she was featured on one of the swinging seniors episodes of Elimidate! (Let me say now that I am totally ashamed to admit that I’ve watched Elimidate. It’s in the same category as Las Vegas is for me…I know the show is bad but I can’t seem to turn it off when it’s on.)

If you’ve watched Elimidate you know that they usually have at least one mean contestant and one slutty contestant to mix things up and keep it entertaining. Well, Cat was the slutty one of the crew and ended up not being picked because even though the man thought she was exciting, he felt that she was too much to handle for him. Ha ha!

I remember this show distinctly because Cat was wearing a black cat suit during the dress up portion of the evening and she had mentioned to the man that she liked motorcycles. He said that he had a “hog”. Now we all know that a hog is another term for a Harley Davidson but the other lady on the date had no idea and thought that he was referring to a pig that he has. It was hilarious!

Anyway, I didn’t ask her if she was indeed Cat from Elimidate but I’d be willing to swear that it was. What an interesting lunch break!
