Picnic Anyone?
Today we had a breakfast at work as a thank you from management for remembering to work safely. In addition to the food, they also raffled off some baskets and gift certificates. We each got one ticket stapled to our paychecks so we could put our ticket in the box for the prize we wanted.
I won this picnic basket filled with plasticware for four, two bottles of wine, a picnic cookbook, tea towels, and cheese spreaders! Guess Joe and I will need to find a park near the new house and have ourselves a good old fashioned picnic. Nerf football anyone?
Hey- that’s a nice treat. I just won something at work too! We had a health fair and our credit union gave away a two night stay. I won and then I looked carefully at the notice. The properties we can choose from are Motel 6, Quality Inn and Ramada Inn and there are only a few cities. I think we will use it in Palm Springs. I figure motels there are probably nice even if they are Motel 6’s!

Have you been to Palm Springs? We really enjoyed taking the tram to the top of the mountain…it was actually snowing up there! I bet this time of year, you’d have the same luck! You can have a warm drink, maybe dinner, and head back down. Such fun!
