Last night our realtor, Maggie, came over and posted the for-sale sign and put the “lock box” on the front door. What a scary and exciting experience!

It should be interesting to have strangers traipsing through our home in the next few weeks. The lock box is set to be available from 8am to 8pm…that should get our butts out of bed for sure! Nothing like greeting a stranger naked as you exit the shower.

We’ll keep you posted on our progress. The kitties are at Joe’s mom’s house for the time being. I think we’ll bring them back as soon as we’re in escrow. They’re my babies and I worry about them every day they aren’t with us. Joyce is taking good care of them, I know, but this is a lot of stress on them…on Owen any way. We’re heading over to visit this weeked.

On Saturday we’re headed up to Burbank to spend my birthday with friends Tim & Shana. They have an amazing day planned with a visit to the Huntington Library and the gardens, a few movies, and a scrumptious meal! Thank goodness my birthday didn’t fall on superbowl Sunday this year! We’ll be spending part of the day at Rebecca and Gary’s and then at half time we’ll head over to Joe’s dad’s house to take in the second half of the game with them. All in all a full weekend to take our minds off of everything that’s going on! A much needed distraction!
