I doubt that spraying them with water would help either. Hmmmm...maybe I'll break out the candles. I'm not much into fake pine scent but I got a yankee candle for Christmas last year...maybe I'll give it a shot. We ended up getting a fake tree. The Pacific Northwest girl in my was unhappy at first, but they died in about 2 weeks in our weather and they are expensive! Anyway, have a great holiday season!
