I’ll be seeing “Dragon Tales” in November. So the martini idea is one that i’ll be stealing. The last concert I saw was Macy Gray and Seal. She was way worse than I thought she’d be, but Seal was WAY better so I suppose I came out even.

Shana, I can assure you that money is not a concomitant of age, but of career choices. All the same, my ability to enjoy what I consider the finer things in life has increased with age. My career choice, however, tells me that if I started drinking martinis I’d have to take out a loan!

My Goodness Olt - what a logical suggestion, but I disagree! I say - martinis before the show. One great thing about getting older is the ability (money!) to enjoy the finer things in life - skip the budweiser! Have a great time!

When tickets were $35 the minimum wage was about $4.25/hour. CA min. wage is now $6.75, so if the tix were more than $55 each, ticket prices have outpaced min. wage increases.

Get a buzz at home before the show & save on beer at the arena!

Ah…black it is! That is one thing in my closet that I have a ton of! So things haven’t changed that much, huh?

The U2 concert should be nothing less than amazing. I’ve heard such good things although I’ve never made it to a concert. Gotta love the irish men!

I like the idea of plaid, Gordon, but I’m not sure about the sandals. Better to wear combat boots so people don’t crush my toes. There will be some dancing to be had!
