Belly Laughs and Crocodile Tears
Joe sent me this link today and I just had to share it with all of you. Someone found some old Weight Watchers recipe cards in their mother’s attic from 1974. Check out the props in the photos, the pictures of the food, the names of the dishes, and the commentary. I was laughing so hard I couldn’t breathe and I was crying. Enjoy!
I am coming to your website the next time I feel the need to have something to eat - man those are gross!
What about the inspiration soup? What is inspiring about green beans floating around?

Tue Sep 6, 2005 at 1:05 pmThese are nothing like the WW of today, huh? Yikes! I don’t think I’ll be able to eat anything in a jello mold for quite awhile.
Tue Sep 6, 2005 at 3:10 pmLet’s just say if the points system was around back in 1974, these would accrue negative points. Ugh. Also, Marcy’s not too bright.
Thu Sep 8, 2005 at 10:21 pmThese are so funny! It would be hard to find anything worth eating!!
