Low-Carb Low-Fat Low-Calorie?
Can I just say that last night was a late night at the hairdressers (my appointments usually last about 3-hours) I called Joe to see if he would like for me to bring home dinner. You see, I know him well enough by now to know that even though it was 9:30pm and he knew where I was, that he hadn’t eaten yet. I said that I would just surprise him and he said, “OK as long as it’s McDonald’s.” I’m thinking when I walked in with the food, it wasn’t much of a surprise.
Anyway, I ordered by number…wanting a grilled chicken sandwich. OK, so I didn’t actually WANT the chicken sandwich but since I’m kind of dieting, I figured I’d better get that. I got the combo without even thinking about it and I ordered by number. I also asked for a side salad, which is fantastic, by the way, with the balsamic vinegar dressing. Anyway, when I got home I gave Joe his food and opened up my chicken sandwich only to see a filet o’ fish sitting there. Huh? Not sure if I ordered using the wrong number or if they got it wrong…but I ate it and ended up having a bad for me dinner despite my efforts. You know what? It was GOOOOOOD! I think I was meant to have the filet o’ fish…how about you?
Can I tell you how much I love me some fillet o’ fish. I love Lent season when Fridays become $1 fillet o’ fish days at the Golden Arches. So glad you were able to partake in the goodness. Can’t wait to see your hair on Saturday!
