I’m leaving work today early to catch a flight up to San Jose for wedding activities. In lieu of a traditional bachelorette party, we’re doing a sort of “girls’ night out” for Kim which will include dinner at Maggianos (can I get a “woot, woot”?) and hanging out at the bars down at the super swanky Santana Row. Most of us have opted to share hotel rooms so that nobody needs to be a designated driver. There are a few that will catch a cab home. My sister and niece will be picking me up at the airport and dropping me off at Santana Row…and will pick me up again on Saturday upon check-out to spend the rest of the weekend sleeping at her house. I should get her a chauffer or bell-hop cap.

On Sunday the girls and I are throwing Kim a wedding shower for her side of the family and some close friends. I have errands/tasks to do to prepare for the shower…but that will have to wait until Saturday afternoon/evening and Sunday morning.

Some time, in between all of this, I’ll head over to my brother and sister-in-law’s house to see newborn Lucie and the rest of the family. I hear that she’s an easy baby…which should make for some good pictures. Unless I’m hung-over that is.
