Man, I know this is severely late, but I can't believe he's dead! I have every CH CD, all of Neil's solo stuff, and even a Split Enz CD. It was a sad time for me when CH broke up.

So, I'm sitting here last night watching the Wiggles with my kids, and I can't stop thinking this this Chef Paul character looks very familiar to me. The the credits run at the end, and I see "Paul Hester", and it hit me. "Holy crap! I know that guy!" The wife couldn't believe I remember things like that. She can't remember songs, much less the name of the drummer in her favorite band.

Anyway, I just searched today to see what old Paul was up to with the Wiggles, thinking surely he's doing ok with how amazingly popular that show is, and the first link is the Wiggles obituary for Paul.

As a father of three young children, I truly feel for his daughters. I bet he would be surprised to know that his death darkened the day of an American living in Italy - as well as thousands of other people he never knew but knew him and enjoyed his work and talent.
