I've been lucky in that I don't know anyone firsthand who's had breast cancer, though there've been other kinds in my family. I'll be running (well, probably walking briskly, but it's not called the Komen Brisk Walk For The Cure With Stops Along The Way For Coffee And Window Shopping, otherwise I'd've been doing this for years) in honor of my dear friend's cousin, who lives in Studio City and just finished her second round of chemo... Rock on Moni! :) I’m doing the portland Komen Race! Yay us!
