Friday Five
1. What’s the last vivid dream that you remember having? I had a dream last night that was more of a nightmare. Now the specifics are fuzzy. However, I know that I dream in color and with a soundtrack…it’s like a movie.
2. Do you have any recurring dreams? I do until I make a change in my life or a decision. My recurring dreams are my subconcious telling me to do something. Then, when I’ve made the right decision, they stop.
3. What’s the scariest nightmare you’ve ever had? When I was still living at home and had met Joe…I was still planning to transfer to Chico State from the junior college I was attending. I had a roommate and a place to live, my parents and I went to the parents day, my paperwork was in…just needed to register. However, I kept having this recurring, violent dream. I could feel this man chasing me and punching me…kicking me…beating the crap out of me. The dream was so vivid. Once I changed my plans and decided to move down to Southern California to be closer to Joe and attend Cal. State Fullerton, the dreams stopped.
4. Have you ever written your dreams down or considered it? Why or why not? Nah…I remember the ones that make the most impact. I know myself too…I would probably start doing it and then eventually forget all about the diary. I’ve never been that great at diary writing, although, this blog is working out so far.
5. Have you ever had a lucid dream? What did you do in it? Well, by definition, this means that during a dream I became aware that I was dreaming and therefore had the power to change the course of the dream. Yes…I’ve had these. I have them all of the time. I usually try to explore the dream and determine what I need to change to either make the dream more enjoyable, or change the outcome to my advantage.
