I tried cleaning it with Peroxide for awhile, but no luck. I took him to the vet and she dx'd acne. I still see a small black patch, but now he has light reddish brown debrise? all over his chin. I have to keep him in because I took his collar off due to the thought of discomfort. I will take him back as soon as I can (had a vet emergency with another cat today), but I have used up my cat allowance for the month. He is on antibiotics and topical cream. Dusty's was so bad that we took her to the vet where they gave her a shot and I had to administer anitbiotics because it had become infected. Owen's acne actually looked like acne. He had little black heads along his chin. They went away on their own. I just made sure that the had plenty of fresh water. I guess I thought that when I get pimples, it's good to drink a lot of water...maybe I just felt I needed to do something. Good luck Victoria! Hope your kittycat is ok! Owen’s acne actually looked like acne. He had little black heads along his chin. They went away on their own. I just made sure that the had plenty of fresh water. I guess I thought that when I get pimples, it’s good to drink a lot of water…maybe I just felt I needed to do something.
